Un serpent australien qui a vécu à l'époque glaciaire du Pléistocène. Il chassait en embuscade auprès des points d'eau. La cartographie de l'espèce a permis de constater qu'elle correspond, dans la tribu Noongar, aux sites sacrés du Wagyl: le serpent créateur des lacs et protecteur de la Nature !

Un mignon petit inséparable qui vivait en Afrique du Sud. Il avait de grands pieds et se nourrissait au sol.

Un dauphin-baleine de la fin de l'Oligocène. Il mesurait 3,5 mètres et se nourrissait de poissons ainsi que de petits vertébrés.

Un ver marin apparenté aux échinodermes (famille des oursins). Il a été découvert par Elizabeth Gray, exemple marquant des femmes pionnières en paléontologie, époque où l'accès au savoir scientifique leur était restreint.

Titanomyrma est un genre fossile de fourmis. La dernière espèce découverte est une reine ailée fossilisée vieille de 49,5 millions d'années, d'une taille comparable à celle d'un colibri, dans le Wyoming, aux États-Unis. Sa présence est considérée comme « la première dispersion transarctique rapportée par un groupe d'insectes thermophiles ».

Oryctoantiquus est un coléoptère du milieu de l’Éocène. Il est connu pour être le plus ancien et le plus grand scarabée découvert à ce jour. Il a été trouvé dans l’Oregon, aux États-Unis.

Interesting choice of colors, the grey-blue particularly catches my eye!

I still find it ridiculous by the way that traditional entertainment mediums can be so much more violent than this art and be sold to the general public with basically no resistance, but I can’t sell this via any print on demand service because it’s “graphic violence” and against TOS.
