Big Honkin' Redwoods - Henry Cowell Redwoods State Park, Felton, CA. I'm pretty sure sure that's the technical name for them. This park is just a few miles from me and I visit often.

I swear I looked at "panorma" for a couple minutes thinking gee there's a typo here and I don't see it. Ah well click oh there it is. darn. hahahahha life in the slow lane :)

I don't make many panoramic photographs. I attended a workshop by Michael Frye a few years ago where he encouraged try.

Hiking in Big Basin Redwoods State Park, Santa Cruz County, CA - December 2017. This is all burn scar today and I haven't had the heart to return. Big Basin was a frequent favorite park for me with miles and miles of trails. You can see the Pacific Ocean out there.

It's built within the Monterey Bay. Look far enough to the left and now it's parallel to shore. Look far enough south and now it's (gasp) heading towards shore.
Much like when heading away from the north pole every direction is south.
In the end I'm left with a resounding: "so?"

OMG this is so funny I had to show it to my daughter. We are laughing our butts off.
