Make the shutdown about more than just health care subsidies. Democrats shouldn't consider voting to end the shutdown unless and until Trump recalls all Marines and soldiers and ends National Guard deployments to Blue States and cities. Also, ironclad pledge of no future deployments.

Dem focus on health care is good. Making it the only headline issue is bad. Fickle Trump can summarily toss the Democrats a bone. Then Dems will be boxed into joining Trump to end the shutdown knowing Trump can find another way to kill the ACA and that all the fascist garbage is intact.

Time for Democratic leaders, like Senator Chris Murphy, to realize Spencer Cox is not one of the good guys. Under his leadership, Utah has become more MAGA than ever. At almost every decision point, where old school conservatism met MAGA, cowardly Cox chose MAGA.
