I'll try things out. Was thinking on starting with acrylics because of dry time and stuff, never really thought much about pastels. But you're giving me ideas.
It's just so much easier fetching your tablet and drawing in front of the TV than setting up your traditional space 😁😅

Thanks! 💗 I wish I could do pieces like this traditional. I try to make the process similar. E.g. trying to use one layer, over paint rather than delete, limit undos, etc.
But traditional I am stuck at pencil level currently 😅.
I use those pencil sketches as my base for digital sometimes though!

The flowers around her? Actually fantasy flowers. Lightly related to looking at various meadow flower pictures, but mostly just trying to sprinkle in some colours 😉
