Yes. This. I read it, thinking it would be some seminal work of fantasy fiction, and it turned out to be really quite dull.

I have only ever ready 1 David Eddings book, about five years ago, and I laughed. I have never read Robert Jordan either. I have never read a Drizzt book, or any of the Dragonlance books.

I have no appreciation for prog rock, or indeed any 70s rock apart from those on a Dad's Rock comp.

Where do I start? There's a big slice of the 90s that I missed between uni, my first job (which was a lot of night work) and marriage/kids. Think X-Files, Alias etc. and then stretch into Lost and 24.

Exploring my gratis TNT Sports subscription I have been trying to understand baseball. I *think* I understand now, after watching the second Yankees/Red Sox wild card game. It's not terrible but I think it needs more statistics, analysis and impenetrable game-related jargon before it's a real sport😉

I had my tablets out of synch, asked for a balancing script, got it, Doctor decided to change my meds, cancelled the script, too late as I was summoned to pick up the wrong ones, and now I have to wait for the new ones. Good job my BP is really under control...
