Rings of Power is really just Days of Our Lives but with elves. 😩 Season 1 gave me so much hope for good things. Season 2 has humbled me.

I paid them $7,700 this year (last 12mo) and my balance only went down by $4,000.

At this rate I will never be out of debt with them.

Enrollee here- I use my coverage maybe once or twice a year because it’s a PAIN IN THE ASS. It is nearly impossible to find a clinic that will accept my insurance. I have to drive *out of a major city* to get care. And I can only afford the visits, because I have Obamacare.

The amount of folks who are having to live out of their vehicles dues to high COL around here is steadily rising, and it’s bullshit that fast freaking food is becoming unaffordable too. None of us chose to be born, and no one should face barriers to feeding themselves.

At my closest McDonald’s, a regular cheeseburger is $5.19.
This is in a non-downtown area of Seattle, 30 min NW.
Never thought I’d live during a time when hot prepared food would be considered a luxury to a LOT of folks.

Dammit, I should be able to eat street meat if I want to. If I get sick, that’s on me.

Downtown Everett is cute. People are generally friendly and neighborly, lots of social events and things to occupy your time and a thriving art community. I quite enjoyed living in downtown Everett, years ago!

No more presidential SCOTUS appointments- not sure why we thought that was a brilliant idea in the first place.
