That is to say: it's worth advocating for yourself, or bringing someone who can advocate for you. Ask for investigation, ask for imaging, get on the damn waiting list as quickly as you can because it's only going to get longer while you wait.

Went to a GP (UK NHS) who was very pessimistic about the wait list for imaging for chronic knee pain. I had to ask for it and then insist that they put me on the waiting list because what's another 5mo when it's been ongoing for >6 at this point. I got the letter within a week, MRI within 4 weeks.

I have an EV and while I understand the arguments for taxing, I don't understand how they expect to implement this. I won't consent to being tracked and I almost entirely charge my car at home.

One of my kids (3yo), who routinely misgenders everyone, said no to pronouns today. It makes it very difficult to write stories while anonymising someone when that person won't even accept being referred to with "they".
