We also need to consider whether this is something that is going to be guaranteed - if you wish an assisted death, everything is in place, what happens if services are too busy and it’s ultimately denied to you because of a waiting list/lack of space? Will there be consequences for this?

If it only happens in separately commissioned units, it will potentially force those who remain “living well” into acting before they are actively dying

How do we accommodate those actively dying, too ill to move, who wish to shorten only their final days/hours?

Maybe because middle class women of a certain age are in a position to call out this shit without fear of losing a salary they need. And can do it on behalf of young women starting out in their careers who are just as sick of this shit but can’t say anything because they need to earn a living.
