So this is why we have a PB where it rhymes idea and cheer.

I first heard about boo baskets from an allergy mom a few years ago. She would swap the peanut butter candies for a small gift for her son. I did not realize they had gone mainstream though!

And it requires niche knowledge! I used to work at a creative media agency, so I know a little about email marketing, paid social, creative, etc. but to get really good results, you need to know what's working, what needs tweaking. It's a whole team of subject matter experts with deep knowledge.

Authors are the nicest people. I've met with five local authors as I'm prepping for my debut picture book release, and each one has offered invaluable advice and support. I feel so lucky, grateful, and energized.

Book marketing question from a newbie: Did you start or consider doing a podcast?

I read this same advice in 2 different books, and I wonder if a podcast would be a time suck. I'd want to create something informative, meaningful and book guests. Then edit and edit. I'm seeing lots of time to do it
