Something I don't see talked about much in regards to chronic illness is how badly it can mess up one's sleep cycle. I've been going through more POTS flare-ups the past few weeks, and needing to lay down this much leads to naps which leads to me being awake all night and into the next morning.

Starting to feel sick and feverish again but my thermometer is glitching out. I'm not well enough to drive and my husband is away for work so I had to DoorDash a new thermometer and some ice packs, and the delivery gal left a sweet note in the bag. ☺️

Oral-B has apparently discontinued my favorite toothbrush model, and I am legitimately bothered. It was the perfect size, the perfect bristle length and density. RIP, perfect toothbrush. 🥺

Thanks to my brother/SIL bringing their sick kid to Thanksgiving, I just had to reschedule important medical testing for 4 weeks from now b/c I am STILL not recovered enough to do the tests. Also had to reschedule my follow-up appt, so now I won't know til late Jan. if I have non-POTS heart problems

It's 7:30 a.m. and all I want is a cheeseburger from Culver's. 🙄 Stupid period giving me weirdass cravings.

Part of me is curious how much my husband and I spent at Home Depot this year, but the other part of me is too scared to actually check. We haven't even bought any appliances or other big-ticket items, just a ton of small-medium home improvement purchases.

I'm getting over a cold right now too. I usually recover faster when I sleep A LOT, like the majority of the day. I also drink a ton of tea, broth, and hot water - the heat helps keep the nose/throat gunk loosened up. 🤢 Also, zinc and vit. D for my immune system. Hope you feel better soon!

How can people wear jeans when they're just chilling at home?? It looks so unbearably uncomfortable.

My brother and SIL brought their sick kid to Thanksgiving, didn't make him wear a mask even though he was having coughing fits, and now two days later I wake up with a sore throat and congestion.
