NLIHC released today its annual report, "The Gap: A Shortage of Affordable Homes." The report finds that the lowest-income renters in the U.S. face a shortage of 7.1 million affordable and available rental homes.

It speaks volumes that the current admin has been disappearing federal housing datasets for the past several weeks and now wants to dismantle HUD PD&R. These are the actions of people who want to consolidate power for their own sake and are deeply afraid of public accountability. Disgusting.
