I had to cover a K class yesterday afternoon, during that time, one person threw up on the rug, four people cried, we had recess twice, and I upgraded my phone.

I do not understand why people are cooperating. I am terrified that people are cooperating with this.

I highly recommend the roasted veggie tray trick - we made it on Saturday and I’ve gotten a LOT of varied meals from it. This one had: brussel sprouts, fingerling gold and purple potatoes, grape tomatoes, black olives, lemon, crumbled feta, sticky balsamic glaze, olive oil.

This hummingbirds nest is in my raspberry bush.

Today Trump nominated Linda McMahon, the co-founder of World Wrestling Entertainment, to lead the Education Department. And we wonder why schools aren’t thriving. Meanwhile, educators everywhere are working incredibly hard with utmost dedication, barely surviving financially, all while being blamed.

The media is a shriveled husk of what it was in 2016. Trump is emboldened and his people have written out a very specific plan project 2025. I hope norms and institutions hold. Trump continues to be extremely volatile and unpredictable.

The truth is, none of us really know what the next four years will look like. It’s incredibly difficult to predict what happens next. It does not feel good.
