Regardless of his politics or things he said, it’s sad. He was young, had 2 small kids and a wife who will miss him. Political violence is not the answer.

The sad part is that so often we treat the vulnerable like the bad guy, or that it’s their own fault for the way they’re being treated.

The American oligarchy is back, and it’s out of control It’s the third time in the nation’s history that a small group of hyper-wealthy people have gained political power over the rest of us. Here’s what we must do.

We should also keep track of gas prices now to compare them later. A gallon of 87 octane was $2.14 yesterday where I live in Oklahoma. I expect not to see that price much longer.

Also, in addition to military personnel, there will be other essential employees working without pay, such as air traffic controllers. Of course they will be paid when it’s over, but it can still pose a hardship.
