My kid was home sick Thursday and Friday and is still miserable tonight. He has wanted to be held and rocked in the recliner, and I held his water for him to drink, & suddenly I’m crying because it’s like I’m 3 years younger rocking my newborn to sleep after a bottle again.

As someone who has never lived in a place with extensive public transport, anytime I see a video of someone on the tube/subway/metra/etc I’m just astonished.

And don’t even get me started on Europe, man, you guys live in a mythical place istg with your public transportation

We have actually done both!! Growing up we would go to one grandparents house on the 24th for late lunch and open gifts, then come home and open 1 gift from our parents, and then open at home after breakfast 😂 then go to the other side for Christmas dinner and open there too!

I know of St. Nicholas Day and leaving shoes outside from taking French in school, and we want to do that.

On the 24th, we wear matching pajamas and watch the Santa Clause movies with hot chocolate, but that’s it so far. We aren’t religious so it’s more about family for us ig? Pls give me ideas !!

My son is at an age where I think he’ll finally remember traditions and things we do, and we want to incorporate more than just stockings and gifts etc.

i had a dream last night that zak brown gave me and someone else a greasy Wendy's bag that had mclaren shirts in it, and they were both size small and i asked him if mclaren would ever be more inclusive with their sizes and he said no because mclaren wasn't fat friendly lmao

I was completely undecided until a court of frost and starlight. ACOWAR took me forever to get through, ACOFAS was a lot easier and then ACOSF wasn’t long enough 😂
