This has been insane because his body temp has just been so high even through ibuprofen and Tylenol. At one point in the ER it was 103! This kid has had 2 sets of ear tubes and probably 16 ear infections and he just never gets fevers. So it’s been weird

My son has pneumonia on top of his RSV (which is actually RSV bronchiolitis), and the last 24 hours have aged me 15 years.

He woke up in the middle of his nap and I knew something was off… his oxygen was at 90 and he was retracting. So we went in and I’m SO glad we did

Yeah my husband picked one up last night! Idk why we didn’t have one before but it was so helpful to calm my nerves.

Trying not to be such a helicopter mom but I almost bought an owlet sock last night which continuously checks temp and O2 😂

I’m giving him Tylenol or ibuprofen every 2 hours so at least it helps for a little while.

I’m so lucky that my dad is an EMT because I was able to get on FaceTime so he could watch my son breathe and reassure me. But this shit is terrifying, and my husband has been working all fuckin day
