Anyway I would be upset, as a parent if I learned this and not only because I am generally opposed to chatgbt but that’s a big part of it.

I wish I could find it again, I recently saw a report that found tasks took the same amount of time or longer using chatgbt than just doing time. Turns out I did not bookmark

I would rather a teacher write a few comments and cut and paste them across report cards as appropriate (which actually fine)
than feed the energy/water sucking / brain melting beast of ChstGBT. which is notoriously error prone, hallucinates and I def have a pretty clear ChatGBT stance…

57 new private clinics in Ontario will take more than 100,000 diagnostic tests out of public hospitals- along with funding and staffing, with plans to expand to do surgeries. This government is essentially building private day hospitals, shifting hundreds of millions in public funding over to them.

It is bad enough that Ontario is doing this. I'm also angry that the Federal government seems quite happy to let it happen.

This is shocking overreach: not only is the Ford government attempting to have a publicly elected official removed from office, they are also attempting to ban them from a future election — all in the name of "accountability."

This is not accountability. This is a vile assault on democracy.

But former Liberal cabinet minister John Milloy said he's skeptical about whether the government will make the controversial move. Calandra's efforts to take over some school boards with appointed supervisors have already generated significant anger and pushback, he said. "I don't know if they have the stomach for it," said Milloy, who is now the director of the Centre for Public Ethics at Martin Luther University College. "I think (the PCs) like to be popular more than other governments that actually go out and spend a little bit of political capital. So, they talk about a good game and then the minute that there's controversy, they back down."
