Good satire doesn't punch down; that's bullying. It punches up.

It is the use of humor, irony, exaggeration, or ridicule to expose & criticize stupidity or vice.

Satire is not violence. It is expressing freedom of speech, sharing ideas and bringing attention to real problems.

It's like a punk rock opera set in 1993 about 3 teens navigating their last year of high school as they uncover something dark and sinister.

First thing I thought of was the zombie movie "The Girl With All The Gifts." The protagonist is a zombie girl. Also a beautiful eerie soundtrack. Based on a book but I haven't read it.
