They prevented his medical team from performing a treatment that might've saved him. Then approved it at the last minute upon hearing of a news investigation, told news media of it before the family. But it was too late.

Insurance companies murdered this man, and many others.

In Canada we have no laws around hate iconography. The United States was actually better than us in this regard but it's so much worse to revoke an existing law rather than just have an absence of it.

The west is in decline. Even politicians who genuinely want to improve things, are utterly incapable of it. Because their own ideological frame of reference is neoliberalism, and that is completely incompatible with policies that can fix anything. Policy tweaks and market incentives aren't enough.
