#Covid19 is only "seasonal" if you mean "the season we decided to care about it" and "the season we pretend it's not still infecting everyone".

It doesn't go away just because everyone was bored of it.

And why on Earth are ERs still unmasked?! Why do staff think flimsy surgical masks cut it?!

Oh, this is terrible. Hospitals were developed as places to give birth because of all the preventable things that can (and do) go wrong. I know midwives are in short supply too.

Moreover, we should. I expect them to wash their hands every time it's necessary. I expect adequate respiratory precautions.

It's against best practice to fail to act when we should.

Respiratory infections spread mainly through the air. That’s why they affect the lungs.

Masks, worn correctly and consistently, reduce the spread of respiratory infections.

Respirators work better than masks.

Washing hands isn’t wrong, but it won’t stop airborne transmission.
