Put it this way - I’m sort of passively listening while doing some work and other stuff because I haven’t started to really absorb the lyrics (which finally just showed up on Spotify) yet, and I find that I’m doing a *lot* of unconscious head-bobbing.

My favorite TS album is 1989, so this is right up my alley. And I’m enjoying the little musical homages/nods to Fleetwood Mac, the Jackson 5, and even what sounds like a little Lenny Kravitz riff. It’s maybe not exactly what I expected, but I’m digging it.

My college sophomore was upset last night (having to stay up on the east coast to listen), but this morning she's done a complete 180 and loves it. Personally, I thought it was a bop from the beginning. It's just different b/c we're not used to Happy Taylor.

I had some people in my life (actual people I knew from college and were at one point real life friends of mine) who I thought were actually good people who fell for this completely obvious lie. And when I called out what an obvious lie it was, they blocked me. I wonder what they think about it now.
