Taken in story order, the Star Wars trilogies have a hilarious time crunch as things progress.

Prequel Trilogy: 13 years between TPM and ROTS
Original Trilogy: 4 years between SW and ROTJ
Sequel Trilogy: The rise and fall of the First Order takes place over a particularly hectic Labor Day weekend.

It feels like Gilroy's Andor properly ended with "Welcome to the Rebellion". Everything after is coda to the show's main interests.

S2 of Andor is still "only" the second best season of Star Wars TV. And the final half of the Gorman arc is Andor going at its hardest. Structurally I'm tempted to call "Welcome to the Rebellion" the end of Andor proper, with the final 3 episodes acting as a epilogue/coda to wrap up loose threads.

Andor s2 is so good. As a whole maybe not quite as unfiromally great as s1, but it clearly has more masters to serve, chained to both studio notes and to fulfilling the promise that this parade of human tragedy meshes seemlessly into the Rogue One romp.

Another random Andor thought: Love that Andor's blaster is part of a collapsable rifle system. A great little nod someone in production made to the old Dark Forces lore, where Katarn's bryary pistol was a sawed-off rifle.

I love the design of the original Enterprise.

What do future space ships look like?

Staple a flying saucer to a Buck Rodgers rocket with a satelite dish on the front, and the whole thing is propelled by two Apollo rockets with mood lighting instead of nose cones.
