My last straw was when a shop not only said I needed services that I obviously didn't need, but they also wanted to charge me $1000 for a spark plug replacement. Dealership wanted $450. And I did it myself for less than $200

They get away with it by calling it "dealership recommended" as opposed to "manufacturer recommended". But they talk to you about it likes it's required. And they can charge whatever they want and mislead you as far as you let them.
