“Fired for no reason”: Former immigration judges speak out against Trump’s assault on the courts The Trump administration’s push for more deportations is upending immigration courts. Recently terminated judges fear the changes imperil due process.

Over 100 immigration judges have been ousted since January and those who remain are being told to prioritize deportations while ICE roams courthouse hallways.

All of this threatens due process rights.

A quarter of FBI agents are assigned to immigration enforcement, per FBI data Nearly a quarter of FBI agents are currently assigned to immigration enforcement, with the number climbing above 40 percent in the bureau’s largest field offices.

By taking 3,000 FBI agents away from their jobs, this admin is putting the nation at greater risk of terrorism, slowing down child exploitation cases, and letting white collar crime flourish.
