a friend of mine is a winemaker in California and I helped him line an amphora with bees wax. He made an "orange" in the Qvevri style using pinot gris from the Santa Barbara area. Really fun stuff!

there are some really interesting cultivars from Georgia that are still produced by old school methods such as Qvevri. So much cool history behind viniculture
