I am pleased to announce that together with some friends, we are organising a workshop on Non-Reversible MCMC Sampling, taking place at Newcastle University from 8–10 September 2025.

Details on the programme and registration can be found at the workshop website (sites.google.com/view/probai-...).

At ICML, we're presenting a paper on uncertainty-aware surface reconstruction!

Compared to previous approaches, we are able to completely remove the need for recursive linear solves for reconstruction and interpolation, using geometric GP machinery.

Check it out!

Nice work, Nathan. I really appreciate this bookβ€”it’s been super helpful as I dive deeper into RLHF research. It’s helping me understand things much more clearly.

Love this! Recently noticed Gaussian Processes popping up againβ€”especially some really cool work applying them to LLMs. Feels like they’re making a bit of a comeback.

The Code of Practice is out. I co-wrote the Safety & Security Chapter, which is an implementation tool to help frontier AI companies comply with the EU AI Act in a lean but effective way. I am proud of the result!

Don't sleep on Gaussian processes. Most under-rated model class on this or any other planet (we've used Gaussian processes to study exo-planets!)
