I am pleased to announce that together with some friends, we are organising a workshop on Non-Reversible MCMC Sampling, taking place at Newcastle University from 8β10 September 2025.
Details on the programme and registration can be found at the workshop website (sites.google.com/view/probai-...).

22.07.2025 08:06 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0At ICML, we're presenting a paper on uncertainty-aware surface reconstruction!
Compared to previous approaches, we are able to completely remove the need for recursive linear solves for reconstruction and interpolation, using geometric GP machinery.
Check it out!
Nice work, Nathan. I really appreciate this bookβitβs been super helpful as I dive deeper into RLHF research. Itβs helping me understand things much more clearly.

The Code of Practice is out. I co-wrote the Safety & Security Chapter, which is an implementation tool to help frontier AI companies comply with the EU AI Act in a lean but effective way. I am proud of the result!

A dark blue graphic with a bright blue box on it with text reading 'βThereβs a good argument that there should be a CERN for AI where governments collaborate to develop AI openly and robustly so we understand and trust the technology we are developing.
