Trans women are women. Trans girls are girls. Trans boys and men are boys and men. And every single one of us deserves the right to live our lives as our full, authentic self. 8/8

We urge all members of the Pennsylvania legislature to reject stripping transgender youth of their rights and dignity and oppose all efforts that endanger the well-being and futures of trans students across our state. /7

Trans students, like all students, join teams to challenge themselves, stay active, and build community. Excluding them only denies them these opportunities and sends a dangerous message that they are unworthy of full participation in society. /6

Participation in school sports has well-documented benefits: improved academic performance, stronger self-esteem, and higher aspirations. /5

Rather than advancing any meaningful student protections, GOP legislators are prioritizing political theater over real solutions for student well-being. /4

Let’s be clear: banning trans girls from participating in school sports does not promote fairness, safety, or equity. It perpetuates harm and reinforces the same structures of exclusion that have historically denied girls and women access and opportunity to sports. /3

This political assault on trans lives and their right to live free from discrimination and harm is part of a calculated agenda, one that seeks to strip rights from the most marginalized by weaponizing their identities. /2
