If they feel that there is a future for them they will vote. Look at how the right has been able to capture the votes of angry young men. Liberal and left parties need to win votes with a better social contact

Correct. But we (middle age and older voters) can’t criticize young people for not voting on our candidates then give ourselves a free pass for refusing to vote for the candidates that young people want. Easy for me to say. I would always have wanted people like Bernie Sanders and AOC.

Surely the law should be the law - regardless of who is in power.

Would it not be better for judges to be chosen by their peers, ideally in honour of outstanding performance? And for a clear distinction to be drawn between legal and political power?

Maybe instead of asking young people to suck up their ethics and vote for something they didn’t believe in, older voters will have to shove down their fear and suspicion and vote with the young in 2028
