They will have some big bills to pay if/when their dog bites someone. My friend's daughter was bitten by an unvaccinated dog and owner had to pay thousands for her treatment. Also, can't license dog here in my town without vaccination proof

I grew up in Derby Line, love that library! We had an amazing relationship with our neighbors in Canada and our HS hockey team even used the arena in Stanstead. Surreal to see this!

I grew up in Derby Line, we went back and forth to Canada all the time. Our HS played hockey in arena in Canada, some houses were half in US, half in Canada in Derby Line. Just appalling!

Jeff Bridges once said " if another country was starving our children, we would be fighting them." But it's ok to starve our own. The statistics are between 1 in 5 and 1 in 6 children who have food insecurity. Who do they think is the future?

Childless as well and thankful for that. My two women friends with no children always say, I am just glad I don't have kids right now. Sad. This is a completely different country than the one I grew up in.
