I vaguely recall (maybe) testing it on Windows in a VM on Linux. But day-to-day, I would prefer to avoid the extra layers and resource bloat.

A few years back, I played around with the most basic SDR dongle you showcased here. I don't use Windows; it was a bit of a fight to get it to work on Linux, it was a better experience on the Mac. I may need to consider one of the better options you touched on.

Getting started

I gave Atuin a go some months back. At the time, there was something dissonant about the UX that threw me.
I've been giving it another go this morning. And I gotta say, I don't know why I didn't like it before. It's pretty decent!

I would add that efforts (time, money) should be spent to ensure the roadways are of the sort of design that NotJustBikes would approve of.

In case you were wondering how long we’ve known that mobility in cities is fundamentally a space problem, this was from Wichita Falls, Texas in 1927.

The streetcar was electric.

And they would need more cars today because of fewer average people in each car.

In cities where there isn’t likely to be investment available for badly needed service improvements AND free fares (sadly, that’s MOST cities), I strongly prefer strategic ridership-focused SERVICE IMPROVEMENTS, along with reasonable fares (and free fares for under 18, over 60, and low income). 3/

Maybe if it wasn't an awful chemical, his showboating might mean something. But to sniff something like that?
Obviously unlikely to cause him any damage with a small exposure like that. But would he like to sniff the finished product (petrol) for weeks? The science is already in, there.

Also, we came close to buying a tantalising house which only occupied 1/4 of the property it was on. During the process, we learned that the council had a restriction regarding the trees on the other 3/4 of the property, ie, must agree not to cut those down. I was pretty happy about that part.

I gave up trying to stop VSCode from getting laggy (even while scrolling), and couldn’t justify removing any additional plugins.
Switched to Neovim/Lazyvim some 6+ months ago. The odd rough spot here and there, but I feel like I have seriously levelled up.

I might need to take another look at Cursor, then.
Used VScode for years, but the drag caused by performance (affecting things like scrolling up/down) was the impetus needed to dive into Neovim and try on a couple distros. Happiness.
I've also recently been blown away by Aider, so....

I would add 'mosh' and 'et' (EternalTerminal) to the list.
I used mosh a good long time until switching to et. Both are great.
