Messed around and ate. Now, I’m resting my eyes and sewing ain’t seeing me today. I’ll go tomorrow (God willing) no excuses. Gotta make some progress on my bag by myself today as a compromise

I’ll be home by lunch and I’ll be able to go to sewing on time.

Tomorrow, I might just wash my hair for real. Thinking of rope twisting my locs

This morning has been great! Caught a ride with the same lovely folk from a fortnight ago. As soon as I hit the city my appointment called to see if I could come immediately. I was able to swing by to collect my things, buy my replacement bamboo steamer + food and catch the next train home!

Błażej called talmbout he’s invited to Thanksgiving with his coworkers. I asked what on the menu. The second he said “pumpkin pie “ I responded with “they whyte”

I do like my peers but having ME being my main stimulus? Being able to just *NOT*?? I couldn’t ask for better!

Made progress on understanding the chords. Going a fortnight without picking up the guitar isn’t something I should ever repeat

I won the battle against my electric blanket and was RICHLY rewarded for it! First, I ran into my next door neighbour who think she me (disappearing for adventures) then guitar was PRIVATE LESSON!!

I really should go to guitar lesson in a lil bit but, outside not looking like it’s tryna see me.

I’ve endured enough “not sunny” weather for today. Me and my electric blanket are besties doe!

I wonder how not knowing the score in real time affected how players played. Because are you just assuming you’re winning? Or losing? Like, every play matters because you just don’t know??

Waiting for my social worker and there’s a Black woman there. Social worker greets me. Black lady heard my name and was like, you know Kiddo? Nameless’s son?

I was overly optimistic about my energy level after [insert words here]. I made an appearance at sewing last night but I took tonight off crochet. It ain’t looking too good for guitar tomorrow either. I’m thinking I’ll take the rest of the week to rest and reset after tomorrow morning’s meetings

I love efficiency! Planned a few errands around this morning’s appointment. Got them knocked out before the appointment *AND* was out of said appointment 1 minute after its scheduled start time.

The privilege of small town living

In conclusion: I did end up needing to stay the night. And I got my light bill in a timely fashion!

I really *am* just gonna slide through next week.

I love that Landlord and I are delusional in different ways

For those who communicate in more than 1 language (not talmbout folk in bilingual+ homes since birth/infancy/early childhood. I’m speaking of those who *sought out* language), why did you learn another language? How did you learn?

For those wanting to learn: what language(s) pique your interest?

I see what’s marked down that week, usually Mondays, and go from there. I go with a wish list in mind/hand but, I try to stick to marked down food.

(we have a food waste reduction law here. it encourages me to be creative and flexible at mealtimes. I love cooking)

I feel so Loved right now. Not just about December; my Brazilian neighbour just text talmbout she made a hair cream for us. I can’t wait to try it Wednesday or Thursday. My locs desperately need a fresh wash
