For the lemon and poppyseed version, just add grated lemon zest and poppy seeds. It will come out looking a bit grey because of the poppy seeds, but it's delicious.

Potatober #25: Today may be international pasta day, but pasta is basically Nudeln, and Nudeln include southern German Schupfnudeln: a delicious noodle-dumpling-hybrid that nowadays contains potatoes. I pan fry them, mix them with sauerkraut and other ingredients, then bake them. Better than gnocci!
