The internet is a reactionary place. They see something, associate it with something else, and boom it's suddenly the only possible outcome. I mean, it's not impossible, but I'd rather wait and see instead of jump to conclusions. Fandoms turn to shit with stuff like this

CRYCHIC's closure was needed sorely to help resolve Ave Mujica, but many people will just see each episode as their own entity and completely omit what came before or what comes next...

Oh I am scared for what could happen to Uika in the next few episodes. If Umiri is looking a bit jealous of Saki & Muts after their CRYCHIC performance, I can't even imagine what Uika's going to look like when she finds out. It's going to be absolute cinema though!

The only real solution would've been either an extended season, or two seasons (i.e. a part 1 and a part 2), but I doubt Bushiroad would've wanted that.

Completely agree with you that some fans have taken it way too far though. Like, can't we just chill and enjoy the ride 😭

The fact it was rushed in a sense kind of made it feel like they wanted to resolve it as soon as possible so they could move on, and in Taki's words (roughly), "not get in [each other's] way" as such. It is a valid critique though

And on the need for more build up, it has been building up for a few episodes now (since episode 5), and unfortunately with the restricted season length that's probably all they could've done. It did feel a bit rushed, but given the constraints I don't mind that. (this might extend a bit)

Oh yeah that part is just wild. Like, I get that many English fans aren't happy with the way the Chinese fans are treating the episode or the people behind it, but really?? It's completely unnecessary.
