It may not seem like much to those who don’t live nearby, but to the 1000s who used this route to get to Admiralty Park, the library and the Braude Bike Path, the closing of this entrance was a big deal. Now, CD11 CM Traci Park is working to reopen it.

I would also mandate a better accounting of all the empty units in the city. If, as our reporting showed last year, over 1000 Project-Homekey funded units are sitting empty, how many of these expensive new builds are half full?

Thanks for asking. For starts, I would revise or eliminate ULA, the so-called “mansion tax” that has devastated housing production in LA since it passed.

As I said, of his day. In 1950, the progressive ideal was urban renewal and networks of parkways. Now it’s tiny, overpriced apartments without parking replacing single family homes. In either case, families are displaced.
