Haven’t played a show in 6 years but let’s see what this is like? I’m 33 and way less depressed and I think I have some new songs but I need to play them live to see if they actually work.

Actually starting to loathe the on/off clicking of guitar pedals. Kind of ruins the immersion. Some of my fav albums have pedal clicking, tho.

i find this image so fascinating. it is both a literal example of authoritarianism but also a second-hand reproduction of the aesthetics of other authoritarian states. it's like a simulacra of authoritarianism whose purpose is to attempt to make the simulacra real.

I think the starters AND 2nd unit are both looking more competitive and athletic going into new season. Last season roster had great chemistry and a decently high floor but with some critical holes. Will miss Norm but alas, I get it!

This is a baffling decision. Soundexchange’s job is to collect and distribute royalties and ensure that artists get paid when their music is played on services like Sirius, the satellite radio monopolist. Taking away their right to sue amounts to giving Sirius the right to underpay.

Last night we saw Bill Orcutt. It sounded like a tube blew in his amp about two or three songs in and when a tech said he'd swap it out Bill said "I'll finish it with this one." Great show.
