Turns out more people are happy with donations than I anticipated 🙌🏻

In the midst of Christmas shopping. Anyone else feel like “stuff” is just kind of pointless these days? Kind of wish it was more acceptable to do charitable donations.

The day after getting home from Desert Bus, I had six inches of snow dropped on my house. And apparently, this is the winter that my car battery has finally decided that it’s reached the end of its lifespan 🥲

I just sneezed weird and my husband tried to comfort me by saying “Don’t worry, your brain is still in your brain,” and as we approach the last few hours of Bus, that’s actually exactly the reassurance I needed today.

Leaving for Desert Bus tomorrow and my company has the gall not to be closed on Remembrance Day 😤 I just wanna go to Victoriaaaaaa 🌵🚌

Exciting adult thing of the day: just bought my 2026 wall calendar for the kitchen.

I’m at a Flames/Jets game and we keep simultaneously cheering “Go Flames Go” and “Go Jets Go”, so all I hear is “Go James Go”.

JK Rowling says "ha ha.. h-heh. I won! I won!" She sits alone in the dark, bathed in the late of her computer screen. We pull back to see her in a large dark empty room. She continues "I won." Seeing the full scope of her cavernous workplace, she appears small and alone. She says, once again, "I won..."

This is how I imagine JK Rowling when she posts.

I ate good last night 🧡 I feel very blessed that I can have my family and my husband’s family all in the same room together and it’s considered a good time.

We’re trying to indoctrinate my mom into the @loadingreadyrun.com ‘verse, and we decided to start her on Road Quest. We’re on Episode 2 and she loves it 🚓🚗🚙

I’ve come to peace with it (in the context of our society where weight is frowned upon), and I actually kind of like my weight now.

But the JOY that comes from LIFTING that much weight is truly next level.

Lifting my own body weight on two exercises now (I am lifting my own weight in plates, not just doing body weight exercises 😅)

I can’t explain how good that feels, especially when I’m easily in the top 30% of people at my gym by weight.

Ultimately, I don’t really care about my weight anymore…

Although I look deeply unimpressed in this photo (it was 5:30 am, I was doing my best impression of being awake), I’ve just completed five weeks at the gym. I barely noticed the time passing. I just feel good.

Also, my physiotherapist has been praising my progress with my leg, so that’s been good🥹

I’ve been getting up and going to the gym every morning at 5am for the last three weeks and I feel both so much better and so much worse lol

Probably didn’t help that I went to a Stamps game last night and got home after 11…
