Israel is using famine as a war strategy in Gaza.
Backed by U.S. support, normalized by global silence, and streamed live on our phones.
Aid restrictions, resource blockades, and starvation are not accidents for Israel, it is their horror tactic.
Historically, famine has been used as a war tool.
Stalin's Holodomor in Ukraine (1932-33) saw grain seizures, travel bans and export surges that killed millions.
And more recently, Russia's bombing of Ukraine's grain storage and ports has disrupted harvests and weaponized starvation.
Alex de Waal, a famine expert, highlights that Gaza now approaches famine levels. He criticizes Israel's unstrengthen of UN aid,
giving priority to a U.S. backed foundation,
The Gaza Humanitarian Foundation (GHF), with aid sites often turning violent.
Around 1.000 were killed only in these sites.
Between May and early August 2025,
almost 90% of UN aid trucks were looted or stopped.
Israel blamed both Hamas and aid chaos, yet independent reports found no proof of systematic actions by Hamas.

All of these, in violation of international law.
In her report for the UN, "From Economy of Occupation to Economy of Genocide", she argues that the current violence in Gaza persists, not despite,
but because, it is economically profitable for multinational firms and financial institutions.
