Quick life update: still a PhD candidate, became a fiancée at the beginning of August, and have officially lived in Louisiana half of my life (18 years!)

I had to wait over a month to even have my three research hours registered by the graduate school! smh

I know the LSU Graduate School didn't email us this morning broadly chastising graduate students for not paying tuition after they changed the whole registration and payment system mid-semester last spring. 👀

Laughing at British shows being like, "it's so far it takes me an hour to get there" and it's 💯 less than 30 miles (judgement based on last summer's side quest to Bronte Country)

This is the first time a lot of people in Clarksdale have been abled to watch the film for the first time. Ryan Coogler, Zinzi Evans, and Miles Caton were all in attendance.
