The implementation for Android and setting up the tooling took 15 mins. This is insane.

There are some things that will totally ruin junior developers' understanding of the basics. Take, for instance, this instruction for installing #PHP PIE.
There is no such file. The docs tell you to pull a PHAR and put it in your $PATH. It's just ... made up its own instructions.
