Her love interest is Violet Anglin, a roller derby lesbian and long time knitter. She was Ren’s best friend. She’s waspish and a little mean, but secretly has a huge heart behind all that. She has a tuxedo cat named Darien. Yes, after Tuxedo Mask in the English Sailor Moon dub.

Grace Baker is the main character of Knitting Grief WIP. She’s sex-repulsed asexual and panromantic and is struggling after the recent loss of her sister, who was an avid knitter. Grace connects to Ren’s online knitting community and finds friendship she never expected despite her grief.

Whatever that praying means for you, get it done. That includes scientifically cheering for her wellbeing. Don’t fuss about it, just make good thoughts for a good woman.

When I turned 30 I had not yet written my first published book or my first published novel and did not know (or know of) some of the most important people in my life. I didn't know how much my life could still change, and did, after the age of 30. There is so much your life still yet to live.

I cannot promote what I’m proud of yet because it has not been announced 😶‍🌫️ But without giving too much away, an aspec story of my heart got an acceptance to a potential future anthology.
My Friend+, who also wrote for the anthology, got in too!

I’ve had them for five seconds but I am already 100% invested in and delighted by them both

This morning a second opportunity came to light. So if I can get my life together, I could potentially be in two anthologies!

Everything is terrible and on fire but. there’s an anthology I failed to write for because of my mental health and it has been haunting me ever since because I wanted to be in it so badly.

There's no wrong way to be aromantic, asexual, or aspec. Intimacy is such a diverse concept that allows for different meanings and associations based on ones own desires and boundaries. All the ways in which we navigate our identities are important, and I think that's beautiful

Getting people to fully accept and affirm your happily single life can be a challenge.

I just wish that tech platforms resisted the urge to become everything platforms. I admire that Medium for example, is, on the whole, only a space for writing. Imho, not everything needs video, & the intro of video & livestream into EVER platform feels overwhelming. & this is coming from a TikToker!

The problem with knowing so many cool writers is that they collectively put out cool books faster than you can read 🥲
