I think it's healthier (for me, anyway) to take some sad time and just feel the feels instead of constantly pressuring or gaslighting myself into a more "positive" emotion. Not wallowing so much as this is how I feel right now and there's nothing wrong with that.

They need to believe the reason you're still sick is because you're not doing it "right" because if you are doing everything right and are still like this - that's a reality that's too hard for them to accept. And they take that fear out on you but say they're just concerned and want better for you.
