Glad ICE is getting called out for plate swapping in Illinois, but this has been happening in California from the jump.

Instead of directing states to issue partial SNAP payments to cover the gap, the feds told them to shut the system off. Starting Nov. 1, SNAP EBT cards won’t reload and after Oct. 31, any unused benefits will be frozen. Please make sure those who rely on them know.
