Took the kids to a cleanup event this morning at Kealia beach, on the east side of Kauai. The sheer amount of microplastics you see when you are looking for trash is, well, something. On the positive side, got a free frisbee.

I think I moved about a yard of drain rock into the filter this morning, but I have stopped now due to the smoke rolling in. :(

Probably need 4-5 more cart loads before I switch to the top layer of pebble.

In Canada's Dauphin pilot where poverty was practically eliminated for an entire town for 4 years, overall crime dropped by 15% and violent crime dropped by 37% (most of it domestic violence).

In the Namibia UBI pilot where an entire village of 1,000 people got it, overall crime dropped by 43%.
