I don't even have to dig up any particularly egregious examples, though there are many. It's the very principle of preferential hiring based on race or sex that is morally repugnant to most people. Reverse-racism is still racism. Reverse-sexism is still sexism.

Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion all being good things by themselves doesn't change the fact that DEI policies have been a fucking disaster and are like 80% of the reason Trump is president right now.
