Give her some time. A human with dementia often really struggles when they transition to a memory care facility. There are also medications that can help. We had an old dog who sundowned and just about drove me bonkers. I had to take him to the vet and was able to get a med to help him settle.

It sounds like she may have dementia and is sundowning. You can do a google search but one suggestion is the use of nightlights to help her remain oriented.
