I've reported this stretch of Brooklyn Terrace, Armley for repair, along with potholes along Simpson Grove & nearby Stott Street.

Today's walk took us to the Temple, Temple Newsam which was designed as part of Caperbility Brown's redevelopment of the estate. Sadly, it has been behind railings for a long time.

Big thanks to Roadblock Soundsysyem for bike powering our performance at yesterday's New Wortley Festival! Our Man About Town men's mental health music group entertained local residents in this disadvantaged but fun loving community, in Armley Ward.

At Thursday's meeting of the West Yorkshire Fire & Rescue Authority, Birkenshaw. We scrutinised reports on service management & delivery and learnt how the service are operating in the hottest & driest year in memory.

Landlord scheme improves homes in Harehills and Beeston THOUSANDS of tenants saw their homes improved after sub-standard living conditions were uncovered in a five-year inspections scheme.

Over 6000 people in some of our lowest-income areas saw improvements to their rented properties and were signposted to further welfare support. 85% of properties inspected were found to be non-compliant - proving how essential these schemes are.

I'm always keen to work alongside local Highways Officers to improve pedestrian safety and reduce vehicle speed across Armley Ward.

At New Wortley Community Centre for our regular Armley Labour Councillors' Advice Surgery, one of 4 sessions each month that Labour offers to residents in Armley Ward.

Pleased and relieved that despite huge financial pressures facing Leeds CC the 34 Neighbourhood Networks have had current funding levels secured for next year!
