It really does not get more explicit than Trump telling top active-duty military generals that they will need to participate in occupations of large cities run by his political opponents as part of his "war from within"

If any other president in all of history said the military should use American cities as a training ground he would be removed from office that same day. The hardest thing to tolerate in all this is how relatively silent elected democrats are. It’s ridiculous.

FWIW, what Greg has here is a great simple script for anyone phone shy:

“Hi, I’m one of [rep]’s constituents, and I would like to tell them to vote NO on any bill that cuts trans health care. Trans health care saves lives, and is worth a government shutdown.”

That’s it! That’s all you need to say.

If Democrats cave on this, I will never, ever, ever, ever vote for them ever again. Ever.

it’s even easier to cut ties as a non-musician! i’ve been using tidal reliably for over a month and have found i don’t need spotify anymore. i’ve also heard good things about qobuz. it’s not a perfect 1:1 but it’s better than funding an ai-crazed war profiteer
