Yeah, phys ed instructors should be screening the kids who struggle for asthma or other physical reasons. Counting on the parents clearly isn't working!

CHRONIC ILLNESS TRUTH: Something that isn't talked about enough are the weight and body changes that come with chronic illness. There are so many factors that can change the way our body looks. From the symptoms of the illnesses themselves, to medication side effects causing weight fluctuations, scars from surgeries and being poked and prodded, hair loss and skin changes, medical devices attached to our bodies, and more. This can be an emotional rollercoaster as we constantly have to readjust to new normals. @chronicloveclub
