You should give Babylon 5 a shot after you're done. First season can be really rough/wooden but it's a complete story and really comes together in the end and gets good in S2.

It was pitched to Paramount as a Star Trek series and they shot JMS down and then went with DS9.

What if they're not a gamer? Would that be ok in your book for someone to switch OSes to not be bogged down by a bloated OS?
