A visitor to my FB page said that not trying to overcome my autistic traits meant that I was resisting growth & “settling”.

For the first time , Im not pushing myself to exhaustion, not forcing myself to act in ways to please others. I’m working with my needs, not against them.

THIS is growth.

Living with chronic illness and being autistic is hard work. My chronic illness needs someone to come round to help me with stuff, but my autism won't let me open the front door. 🙄

This is my latest fidget toy haul, it was my wonderful partner who found these for me. Whenever we are in a shop he will spot them and get (almost) as excited as I do. Im so lucky to have his support on this journey as a late diagnosed autistic adult 🎉❤️
