Themed sessions eg ‘Did lies lead to Brexit’ How has Elon Musk changed the parameters of social media truth’. ‘How has disinformation changed politics?’ And expert high profile guest speakers on the subject. Do we think there an appetite for an ethical fight back and collaboration or not?

With the recent Meta decisions it’s got to be time for public libraries across the U.K. to reclaim the verified information role advise on disinformation
1) Devise a toolkit use in physical session with the public advising on how to verify online information, spot lies avoid scams & keep safe
The next few years are going to be tough, but just remember what Anne Herbert said:
"Libraries will get you through times of no money better than money will get you through times of no libraries."
