I was at a cafe in Albania (where I was serving as a Peace Corps volunteer) and a Black man sat down. This in itself was rare enough, but it turned out to be Clarence Gilyard (from Walker, Texas Ranger). He was in town doing a play with the national theater. We had a nice chat about his travels.

A Dust storm and hurricane force winds blanketed Oklahoma today. Wildfires broke out all over town, police evacuated neighborhoods as homes burned. Now, dust is just everywhere. You can just smell and feel it, even inside. Why is 2025 leaning so hard into the dystopian novel vibes??
